Do's
1. Student must be upright, deligient, sober, modest, imbued with professionalism and work together with harmony and mutual respect.
2. Students must be well mannered and courteous to teachers and seniors. The students should deal with university staff with professionalism.
3. Students must be well dressed and behaved in all their teachings, postings and any other intramural or extramural events. While representing the university in other institutions they should not bring a bad reputation.
While in university all students must compulsorily have their name plates pinned on their apron.
For boys formal shirt and pant with a long white neat and tidy apron.
For girls kurta pyjama with a long white neat and tidy apron.
4. Students must check the notice board of their hostel, Kalam center and the departments in which they are studying. They should be solely responsible for the consequences of failure to read notice boards.
5. Students should report any unlawful activity that take place in university to the Proctor.
6. Students who feel like they are in depression should contact Dean Of Student Welfare or any Consultant in Psychiatry department of KGMU. They should not ignore their mental health.
7. Students must carry their practical files, notebooks and mandatory instruments required in all the respective postings. They can be barred from attending class if they are non compliant.
8. Students are advised to take part in all the events of university in which they are interested. The university organises many events for the students.
9. Students should use all the resources provided to them by the university for their development.
10. Students should be present in events, meetings or any other discussions that are marked compulsory in the notice to them.
11. Students should give all the assignments, practicals and test with all your efforts. All the works allotted to them should be done/submitted before the deadline.
12. Students should always carry their ID cards in the campus.
Don'ts
1 . Students must not involve in or support any unlawful activities such as ragging, bullying, discrimination (on basis of caste, gender, sexuality, residential zones) , sexual harassment, rioting and striking against the university etc. These are criminal offences and are punishable under Indian Penal Code.
2. Bunking of classes either in mass or by self is strictly prohibited.
3 . Students should not pollute the environment of the university. The university should be considered as second home.
4 . Smoking, alcohol intake and drug abuse is strictly prohibited in the university and hostels.
5 . Involving in any acts of cheating in exams or any other unfair means are strictly prohibited
6 . Students should not use abusive or offensive language within the university. The profession requires use of kind and polite words. So they should think before they speak.
7 . Students shouldn't damage any of the resources provided by the university.
8 . Students should resist from any violence inside university campus.
9 . Students should not gather unruly on entrance, exit, hospitals or infront of any Department of the university.
