University ushers a new period in the life of a student (especially UG students). New experiences, freedom and responsibilities might misguide them from making the right decisions in life . Placement Cell of KGMU aims at providing UG students Information about what lies ahead of them and to help them see the bigger picture without any stress and expectations from peers or family.

Objectives

1. To locate and identify best job opportunities for students across all programs of KGMU, both Nationally and Internationally

2. To collaborate with industry, employers, alumni at National and International levels for placement of our students

3. To co-ordinate between employers and students for job opportunities and on campus/off campus placements

4. To provide sensitisation programs for students for awareness of societal and industry needs, locally and globally.

5. To provide guidance to students for pursuing higher levels of education according to their preferences, and societal/industry expectations.

6. To enhance employability skills in our students

7. To provide training/guidance for facing on/off campus placements

8. To audit student progression in all programmes of the University

9. To plan strategies for increased employability of our students

Working of Placement Cell

1. Placement Cell shall conduct Career Guidance Program's for students of all levels and programs running in the University. This shall include:

3. Sensitisation to opportunities for advanced research opportunities in health professions

4. Sensitisation to existing rules and regulations for setting up private practice
